Yes! You can request specific geographic areas through our request system. Popular requests are prioritized and added to the portfolio regularly.

All miniatures and frames are provided as STL files and a 3mf file, optimized for 3D printing with the popular Bambu Lab printers. The 3mf files are pre-colored and include optimizations for improved print quality.

Our miniatures include buildings, roads, topography, and major landscape features. The level of detail is optimized for 3D printing while maintaining recognizable geographic features.

You can modify the files for your own commercial use (adding supports, scaling, etc.), but you cannot redistribute the modified files. Physical prints of modified versions can be sold commercially.

Many of our miniatures are based on data licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). This means:

• You must attribute the original data source (e.g., OpenStreetMap contributors) when selling prints.
• If you publicly share any adapted data (not just prints), you must also offer it under the ODbL.
• Physical prints do not require you to share data, but attribution is still required in your product description or packaging.

Due to the creation process, many miniatures will contain non-manifold edges and sometimes floating regions or mesh errors. This is normal and expected for geographic models generated from real-world data.

However, our included print profiles are specifically tuned to handle these issues. The provided 3mf files are pre-configured for reliable printing on Bambu Lab printers, and we make use of and rely upon the slicing process to deal with such mesh problems.

If you encounter any printability issues, please contact us for support or use the recommended print profiles for best results.

While we strive to create miniatures for as many requested regions as possible, not all geographic areas can be successfully modeled. Some locations may lack sufficient data or present technical challenges that prevent accurate or printable miniatures from being created.

There is no guarantee that every specific region can be created. If a requested area cannot be produced, you can try a slightly larger or smaller area, or choose a different location that is similar in features.

Yes, there are limits to the geographic area that can be turned into a miniature. The maximum size is set due to technical limitations. For more information on area limits and guidelines, please see the details on the request miniature page.

Sometimes the included print profiles in our *_bambu.3mf files may be overridden by BambuStudio configuration updates, or your printer model may not have a specific profile included in older releases.
